Good experience, Although I went march end, so not up to Top. but worth it ... it was rainy day and ticket was sold out till 12 Noon .. So please plan before if you are sure .. as there is no cancellation. they will allocate you block like A, B C... each block have capacity of 8 person .. View is good from right.. if you can get sheet... :)

The scenario and landscape is very beautiful! I recommend to hike up by the railway and hike down through the step route that split on the top. Best hike I did in UK

An inspiring rail journey. Make sure you book in advance. Depending on which time/type of train you want to travel on, it could be a few weeks before. There is time at the top to visit the summit and grab a cuppa/snack, before descending on the train you go up on. You can get one way tickets; upwards... then walk down if you’re feeling energetic. Not cheap, but reasonable value.

YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BOOK THIS IN ADVANCE!!! We didn't realise this and had to wait at the top for a couple of hours with no guarantees of getting down via the train. However we were lucky and the ride was awesome. Such a quaint little station at the bottom and fantastic service. Highly recommended 😊

An amazing feat of Victorian engineering climbing to (almost) the very top of Snowdon! It's quite the ride and whilst I'm sure the diesel train is great, if you get the chance wait for one of the original steam trains to take you up for an extra amazing experience. It's difficult to review, as it's an experience that is unique to the individual and clearly this reviewer got a lot of enjoyment from it! There is the ubiquitous gift shop and cafe on site, though the cafe at the summit itself was extremely busy when visited in May, standing room only and very long queues. Definitely a bucket list experience.
