  A lovely place to go for a 1 or 2 night break. Very relaxing vibe and the afternoon tea is excellent. Please note spa does get busy outside of work hours when members arrive.

  Four star hotel trying hard to be five star, but without making the investment in quality training for the staff. This makes it feel like a knock-off. Spa was being used for a swim class when we arrived so we were asked to wait until it was over before using the pool. The brassiere lunch was great with many options and plenty of food as a buffet, but the tone of the staff made everything feel cheap. Could be so much better with some more training and thought put into the spa schedule.

  Brilliant place. The dining is fabulous. Prices average to pricing but well worth it. Average per head £40 not including drinks. As for afternoon its amazing. As for the health spa, my wife and I enjoyed it very much. Not the largest pool but the jacuzzi was great. Staff are fantastic. The grounds, look lovely but we haven't explored them that much. All in all, 10/10

  Location was excellent with lovely country surroundings! Room was very comfortable with a massive bed! Service everywhere was very nice and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The automatic 10% service charge on all bills, although only advised was very cheeky considering we were already paying well for the experience but you can choose not to pay this... The spa treatments were very relaxing and our whole stay was tremendous!

  What an amazing experience I've just had here to celebrate my 12 year anniversary. From the moment we walked into reception everything went perfectly well. The receptionist gave us the warmest of welcomes and all the staff across the hotel did the same from the restaurants to the spa and treatment therapist within the spa. We eat in all 3 areas which offered food and all 3 meals were good. The main restaurant which we had dinner in the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you to all the team at Sopwell House for making our anniversary extra special.
