Really beautiful location - fantastic use of my National Trust membership. Plenty to keep you occupied and lots of information about the life of Agatha Christie! The chocolate brownies in the cafe are definitely recommended too!

Visited hope cove. Great place to visit with a charming atmosphere. The beaches are great for kids as quite sheltered and lots of rock pools but a bit smelly in places, sand can stain your clothes orange and there is a lot of seaweed. Overall good experience though with plenty going on.

We visit Slapton quite often and enjoy walking on the (pebbly) beach and in the area. The old battle tank is a reminder of WW2 when so many made the final sacrifice, in particular our allies who came from the USA and were billeted while they trained locally. There are a couple of restaurants and a pub, all of which offer a great selection of food and drink. The coast road was badly damaged in the winter storms, so check the current state of repair.

Devon is possibly one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived and visited. this place is so vast I never get feed up with its beauty come rain or shine. There so much to do in Devon weather your a walker, thrill seeker, holiday maker or resident there's always something to see or do.

Stunning and diverse scenery. From the beautiful river Dart to the paddle steamer and steam train. Bustling towns and friendly people. A step into the past but with all the comforts of a modern vibrant county.
