  An oasis of beauty, tranquility,.and history. Fabulous gardens. Wonderfully cared for by a dedicated team. Great for families. Wheelchair access. Popular cafe. Art and craft shop. Toilets.

  Magical and wonderful and such a privilege to like so close. A glorious 16th century manor and its gardens, managed like an urban park with all kinds of flour beds and shrubs and loads of nooks and corners to sit in the sun. A cafe sells drinks and sandwiches from spring to late summer. Busy in the most wonderful way during term time as the nursery schools spill out at lunchtime and the primary schools spill out mid-afternoon.

  A small oasis in a charming town. The gardens are mostly formal and laid out so you can easily stroll through them all at a leisurely place. Several of the gardens are walled off, giving them a very cozy feel. You will probably regret not bringing a camera.
