  Today my husband and I went to buy walking boots and shorts. There were no staff available to ask for assistance. When we got to the till, there was a very young girl who served us. She made no effort to provide a good service. There was no eye contact, no please or thank you, no smile, basically no engagement at all. We weren't even offered a bag, we had to ask for one! I appreciate this member of staff may have just left school, however aren't you training you're staff these days on how to provide a good customer service. Both my husband and I were disgusted on the experience that we received, and will think twice on where we purchase such items again.

  So yesterday I decided I needed some new shoes for a charity run that im doing next week and went to the Sports direct in Morfa because the one in Neath didnt have what I wanted. So! I arrived in the store and noticed it was quite busy as the kids were back in school in a few days. My mother and I went upstairs to look for some shoes, I found 2 that I really liked, so I looked around and couldnt find any staff, I went right the way over to the other side of the floor and saw a man tidying. So I kindly asked him "excuse me, but is there anyone that can help me with looking for some shoes?". And the reply I got was absolutely shocking. He turned around in a massive huff and loudly said "ahhh oh my god not another one!". He said it right to our faces. As he used his walkytalky to get another member of staff to help us, I simply smiled and was kind enough to say thank you to him. So as we started walking towards the shoes, a lovely member of staff approached us and asked if we needed any help. I dont believe this was the man who was called up to come see us but was just passing by and asked if we were ok. He was happy and cheerful and had wonderful manners and left there with exactly what I wanted :) So, honestly some staff in that shop are incredibly rude and need to be seen to by their managers and others need praise or a promotion! Thank you to the lovely man who served me, I wish I caught his name to comment about him on here.

  It's a Sports Direct store so you get exactly what you expect in every other store. Rude staff, onerous returns policy and a messy layout.

  Rubbish. They haven't got clue. Bunch of kids who either haven't been trained or be bothered to hep
