Our visit to St Davids was part of Brenda and my fantastic trip to Wales. We worship at St David of Wales in DENTON, Texas. Therefore we felt we had to visit this magnificent Church when the opportunity presented itself. We attended April 15. My advice to visitors is don’t just come and view St Davids as you would a museum. Come on a Sunday morning and discover what St Davids is really all about. Joe Holland. DENTON, Texas

No visit to the part of Wales should go without a visit to this splendid Cathedral, set in beautiful surroundings and if the weather is kind an alround great place to go. Inside the features are unmissable and the general condition in and out is remarkable.A large car park is at the top of the city on the opposite end to the Cathedral as well as a small parking area just down from the Cathedral, however the stroll down from the top park adds to the enjoyment of St Davids,.. pop in for a cream tea in one of the many teashops in this little city to make the trip complete..

Amazing History and beauty spot which is well worth a visit. The cathedral is free to enter but donations for the maintenance is politely asked for via a donations box on entry. Right next to it is Bishops Palace and this too is worth a visit, though it isn't free to enter it's not too expensive. Public toilets near by too and a gift shop.

Great Cathedral to visit if you are in or near St Davids Its free to get in, but there is an advised donation if you want to donate. Been here a few times and its always great to look at. Had a very nice chat with one of the guides there. Seemed very knowledgeable of the history of some of the tombs there. Lovely gift shop on site as well.

Lovely cathedral. Fantastic ceiling throughout. Lovely woodwork and craftsmanship. Interesting to see parts of different ages, some very old and some fairly modern. Lots of little chapels. Nice cafe (refectory) with free WiFi. Not much parking though loads around the city and only short walk to the cathedral. Suggested donation for entry and Β£2 for a photography permit. Time well spent.
