  Lovely hotel in central location! Staff seem friendly including ones at reception and house keeping staff. Room was spacious and nice.

  Well priced and centrally located venue, right beside the station. Inside is a bit dated, but staff made up for it with their friendliness and warmth. Odd arrangement of rooms, but decent selection of drinks before our trip.

  Nice enough staff, but our room was worth the £50 I paid for, the linen was dirty but the worst part was the small fridge smelt rank and the milk in the fridge didn't smell very nice either. Both windows didn't shut and to top it all off, the radiator in the bathroom suddenly made a very loud banging noise in middle of the night that woke us both up, went on for about 2 minutes. Not a great stay unfortunately :(

  The heat in the room would not turn off. The bathroom tissue was small sheets in a dispenser. The steam heat turned into a jackhammer sound the no amount of searching could find. The main desk could not be reached from the room's phone (which seemed to be disconnected). When we finally went down to the desk, the night manager said that a part had been put in backwards and he could turn the whole system off. So. . No heat. And the bathtub leaked, to top off the stay. Not impressed.

  Stayed over Christmas. Only the reception was decorated. They took the tree down in the bar/restaurant on Christmas day. The staff weren't friendly. Tried saying Merry Christmas and good morning. No response. Rooms were warm. Bedding and towels clean however the carpet was dirty, need a good hover. On entering the hotel we thought it was nice but disappointed with the rooms.
