  The nurse I dealt with was excellent. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the receptionist staff. While waiting for my appointment, I witnessed them being rude towards visitors on two separate occasions. To top it off, as a patient left I noticed the receptionist team turn to each other, mocking the person leaving. I couldn’t hear everything but from I heard he had forgotten to bring something. I wish I had asked for their names, however the older blonde lady in particular let herself down. Being unorganised is forgiveable but being rude and openly unprofessional is not.

  The most disorganised group of people I have ever come across. Seems that they think that they don't have to take students seriously. Tried to arrange a new prescription and gave myself plenty of time with 4 days of medication left. Called the GP & they said I had to go into the practice to do it. Went into the practice the next day at 4.30pm & they said that I had to call the GP between 11am & 4pm. Couldn't do that the next day as I was at work but called the day after that at 3pm & was told that it was too late in the day to order my prescription. I have now run out of medication and have had to call 111 & will have to pay £8.60 for 3 days of medication rather than the usual 30, all because these absolute clowns don't have a clue what is going on. Completely unprofessional & not certain if they are properly qualified.

  Very rude nurse who turned me away after basically told me off like a child for 5 minutes. Not what I needed when experiencing personal problems. Rude.

  Terrible. My daughter who is at the university and in Liverpool on her own, has been ill for weeks. She always gets seen by nurses who say things like "I can hear you have a problem with your valves (heart valves as her heart was racing) but don't worry it's only the weather, everyone has problems with their valves at the munute". 2 weeks later she managed to get back, seriously ill, almost collapsed and then a Dr got her admitted to hospital. She was in the royal for 3 days. Absolutely disgusting nurses doing the job of doctors. Students getting fobbed off. Trying to get a proper appointment with a Dr seems impossible. Currently attempting to get a private referral.

  Very hard to get an appt if you don't turn up before 10am which being a student and having lectures is quite difficult. I'm always told to come back the next day only to be told they're full! When you do get seen it is never by a doctor always a nurse who are very limited in the services they can provide, and on numerous occasions I've been fobbed off and told to go to the doctors because they aren't trained to provide adequate care. If you have a serious issue I would recommend going straight to ropewalks as this place is just a waste of time!!
