  Very standard Tesco with friendly staff members. On college days around peal times queues can develop, especially around the self service tills and the tobacco/lottery counters.

  Always a huge selection of items at wherever in the UK you visit. Produce average but OK. Prices reasonable. Staff usually OK. Only thing is it's usually cold.

  What a fantastic store, easily walkable from York or plenty of buses. We actually came to Tesco’s for breakfast instead of paying Marriotts prices. The cafe within this Tesco’s wasn’t a concept I’ve seen before. There is a huge choice of breakfast inc. healthy options. Really impressed. The store itself is okay but rather busy on a Saturday, car park is a bit of a nightmare with queuing.

  I go to this Tesco’s a lot as I am a student at the college. I’m 18 and I have a valid ID. I’m a smoker. I would normally get a 30g of Amber leaf. But if I go on a night out I get a pack of sterling. My mum had told me the name of a different packet that’s a bit cheaper and seeing I was off out that night I thought to get some cheaper ones. So I went in and asked the lady if she could help. The lady next to her then turned around very rudely and told me I should know what I smoke. I then asked for the amber leaf and the pack of fags. Which I was then denined because I wasn’t allowed both. I have never had this problem before. My ID then got questioned and I was beyond angry. The two ladies on were so horrible. I will not be buying my cigarettes from there again.

  All staff were very helpful as I don't usually use this particular Tesco. I found things which had been on my shopping list for ages. Nice too to have my car washed in the car park whilst I shopped. I was even given a free coffee in the cafe today. An all together good shopping morning. Thank you Tesco.
