::I've been a patient of The Barony Practice for almost twenty years and I've always received great treatment. The receptionists are always pleasant and helpful, as are the nurses, and the GPs are excellent. You will always receive a call back from the on-call doctor on the day, and you will be seen by a doctor on the same day if required. Referrals are organised quickly, and any support you require from outside agencies such as palliative care, is also organised very quickly. I can honestly say that in my twenty years of being a patient of this practice I have never had a bad experience.

::Since moving to Paisley I needed a new doctor and this was my closest one. Iâm absoltely shocked at the service they provide and their processes of booking an appointment. I called at 8.30am when they opened to be told I couldnât book an appointment but a doctor would call me back. I didnât revive a call back until 6.15pm to be told âas a new patient we recommend you get a new patient check up before we assess youâ to which I stated that I needed to see a doctor because of pain I was having. She refused to give me an appointment. I phoned back this morning and spoke to another colleague who said this shouldnât have happened and that they would get another doctor to call. A doctor calls back but it doesnât even ring and it goes straight to my voicemail. Still waiting to speak to a doctor (not even get an appointment) 2 days later!!! My previous doctors you were able to phone up on a first come first serve basis and were given a choice of appointments. I canât believe this is how a doctors works.

::deserves zero stars. I don't know who has written these other reviews or staff have changed but the reception staff at this GP practice are rude. If you are happy for unskilled clinical lay person to decide wether or not you get to speak to doctors then go ahead and risk joining, otherwise to be avoided!!!!
