::I almost feel bad leaving this review with only 4 starts. This is simply down to the restrictive parking. Pub car park is medium to small, and but its in the city so.. But the issue is with zero parking in the local area due to Permit controls, again no surprise as its close to the city. So taxi if you can. That said, I we were a party of 4 and we visited the restaurant area only. One word describes both the service and the food - excellent! We will all be back soon.

::My husband and i went for meal Monday lunch time March 2018.. We were welcomed by friendly young lady who was very helpful with our order and wine menu. We had jalapeno starters which was well presented and delicious. We went on to have order a steak meal and lamb meal, both of which were delicious , well presented and cooked perfectly to our liking, using top quality produce. waitress once again was helpful and talked to chef on our behalf regarding our preferences. ::Had a delicious meal last night in the warm and convivial atmosphere. A pub for everyone - and clearly getting the formula right 😊 as the pub was full. The manager and chef were exceptional in accomodating my food allergies and no request was too much - they took great care to ensure I had a great meal within my dietary restrictions. Hence the 5 stars. Thank you 😊

::This place is amazing. Dog friendly and constantly seeking to improve their excellent menu any way they can. Just found out they are now doing a pub quiz too. Lovely garden and great staff who remember me when I come in. New favourite Norwich pub.

::Been here for a dinner out with friends. Atmosphere, environment and food was very good. The issue is with portion sizes. I do truly believe the portions are for up to 12 year old kids and not for adults. Please step up on this one as it was quite disappointing to have such a tiny dish of pasta with crab for £11.50. Looked more like a tapas to me. Anything else was really pleasant and good service . Cheerio
