Convenient shopping with a good range of shops. Free parking.

Such a shame this place is charging high rents to the shops. We used to have a great little selection down here and I would shop here regularly. Unfortunately now there are a few die hards left but lots of empty shops and charity shops. A friend was offered 6 months rent free if she would move her business from the nearby Oreston but the remaining 6 months rent was still more than she would pay in Oreston throughout the year so she stayed put - and why not. The place is becoming a ghost town, even more so since the greedy landlords built a great big concrete unit in the middle of the pretty pedestrian thoroughfare and let it to Costa - who now compete with the other three local coffee retailers there! There is just no sense from these people and no pride or loyalty to the locals,

Sadly declining local shopping centre. Great butchers. Lots of charity shops. A Costa in the middle of what used to be a nice open space. Because putting it one of the empty units would have been madness?

Useful local shops and cafés. Was better when the supermarket and veg shop were still open but recently seems to be gaining a fresh impetus. Nice little play area for kids and large free car park. Close to Plymstock centre and the library. Lidl's Close by which extends the range of produce offered. Rumours of Wetherspoon taking on the old supermarket site which would bring back even more life. A new Costa has been built right in the middle which is possibly the ugliest new building in Plymouth and blocks the view of nearby shop fronts. Will not use it as there are good local cafes opposite.

This used to be a very good shopping centre. Whenever a decent shop opens, due to high business rates and rents, they soon close. If you want a bet or visit a charity shop its well worth a visit. Even Barclays bank is closing. The rest are sure to follow.
