  This is a beautiful old inn, full of character. I was in one of the rooms at the top, and there wasn't a straight edge in the place. As it was a work trip, I wasn't too concerned that the room was small, but I wouldn't have appreciated if I'd paid for it myself. The bar/restaurant was nice and relaxing. As always, I had a burger for a meal. It was delicious, and I'd highly recommend it. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

  We stayed at the Bull because we were attending a cheese, wine and salami tasting evening. Martin is a connoisseur of fine wine and good food. The evening was intimate, with only ten people attending, but the conversation was lively as the food and wine samples were distributed. It was a great evening and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to sample different wines with different foods. We will certainly be going to the next one. Keep up the good work, Martin.

  We visited for a wedding reception and meal. The food was amazing, the staff were helpful and friendly. My wife and I didnt stay in the hotel ourself but our friends who did said the rooms were lovely. The choice of drinks were great and I tried a couple of ciders I havent seen anywhere else. I would definitely recommend a visit for anyone who is in the area.

  Enjoyed a delicious meal with friends in their excellent private dining room. Food was excellent, my rib eye steak was perfect and the raspberry trifle was sumptuous. On top of great food and excellent wine, the staff are all very friendly and laid back, attentive with a sense of humor. We will be back in the new year!

  What a fantastic place to enjoy food! Staff professional and friendly, drink list are very interesting and have lot unique choices, food are absolutely amazing! We went for Sunday lunch around 4, table booked, but we had drink at sofa area which very relaxing while we waiting for table is ready for us. The manager arranged bus to sit away from group crowd which he suggest is much quite and relaxing for two of us before we even ask. The menu were full of surprise with local sourced food mixed with some new ideas! We ordered Korean fried chicken wing and pigeon breast for starter, main we went for sea bream and roasted lamb shoulder, all dishes were full of layers of flavors, not just what regular pan fry fish or roasted lamb... We also order wine to go with main, the manager explained full details of the wines that we interested at and made perfect choice wine for our food. We dare glad to find this place as our new local place we can visit frequently and definitely return again for more and introduce to our friend who is visiting us in the future!
