  Forge have moved location yet again, and I did not know. By chance I happened to drop in to check my time. I went to the last location. NO MAP to say where they were. I eventually had to ask at a competitor. This is the 4th time they have done this. Google search shows the last location. I have a 5am flight with 2 friends tomorrow and I would have missed it. NEVER AGAIN! Why do you keep moving? Incredibly bad business sense.

  The indoor play area was enjoyed by our children and its laid out well so that its easy to keep an eye on them. There is a good play frame out in the garden too which our children enjoyed. The food was good except that the peas were cold and they failed to bring one of the desserts out at the same time as the rest, even though we ordered them all at the same time, when everyone else had finished theirs and the last dessert still hadn't arrived on our table we asked them to cancel it. No real ale. It seems that a lot of places that market themselves as 'child/family' friendly seem to think that shabby decor, broken fittings and scrappy gardens are acceptable. If the owners could do a bit more to improve on the basic cleanliness and quality of finish then I may consider returning often. Broken locks on bathroom doors, dirty nappy's stuff behind heaters, glasses left lying around on the tables and on the floor of the garden are not acceptable. I'd rather go to a nice pub with no play area than return to a grotty pub with a play area.

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed locally night before flying to Europe and had a lovely meal. Great free shuttle service from the Forge Accommodation. Will definitely go again. AJ gave super standard of customer service, thank you. Accommodation

  Me and my friend took our families to the Bungalow on a Sunday lunchtime due to it’s reputation as a ‘family-friendly’ pub. The indoor facilities for children were very good, much better than the outdoor facilities, which seemed underwhelming considering the amount of garden room they have. As for the food, I had an acceptable burger (although it was a bit on the rare side). Everybody else at the table had a very confusing experience indeed. Two out of the 5 of our party received their meals within ONE minute of ordering. It arrived lukewarm, and with hardly any gravy. My friend described it as ‘Revolting’. The rest of the party received their meals 30 minutes later (when the others had finished). Again, it was lukewarm and poor in quality. My 4 year old son, who doesn’t normally leave much on his plate when it comes to roast dinners, barely touched his meal, and neither did my partner. The tables are very close together, meaning that due consideration has to be given before you consider standing, just in case the person sat behind you is taking a sip of their drink. It also means that you neighbours at the next table need to be regularly warned before you intend to sit back down in the dirty, tattered seats provided. All in all, it was a visit that I totally regret. It is not often that a party of 5 are ALL disappointed in their meals, and all in agreement that they would never go back again. I am no expert on Sunday dining in Bristol, but I have visited most restaurants/pubs in a 20 mile radius of The Bungalow. All of which are worth visiting before this place…..
