Went in on a rainy Monday morning with my friend, hoping to eat brunch. Firstly the waiter at the counter was on his phone, which i wouldn’t mind especially as it seemed quiet, but he clearly didn’t want to put it down to serve us. Then i asked him if the vegetarian option could be made vegan. He gave a loud, scornful laugh and walked away. My friend and I were shocked. Whether he was going to ask the kitchen staff or not, I’ll never know, as we left immediately given his behaviour towards us. Can’t coment on the food or drinks but the staff was disgustingly rude.

The Cafe is located on the 5th floor. It is open during the same business hours as Foyle's Bookshop. On weekends, bank holidays, and school half terms, Foyles is busy. The Café offers a good selection of teas, coffees, snacks, cakes, and cooked lunches. There is no table service. When you arrive, please join the queue. There is a children's menu too. The seating is open plan. The service is efficient, and the staff knowledgeable. Prices are affordable. Sometimes, you may share a table with other guests. There is a lift to the cafe on the fifth floor. The café is suitable for the disabled, including wheelchair users. Thank you.

Huge space, buzzing with life, good food. Not many plug points so charge your conputers to the max. Brilliantly located right in the heaemrt of the West End. Good space for one on one meetings as long as you can find a seat.

Great place to eat and talk. Food always good. The only frustration is trying to find a table as people sit for hours on their computers without buying a thing.
