  A quieter county pub. Serves hot food and has a varied selection of alcohol. It has a large garden which is lovely in the summer.

  I stopped in here to do some work and have a drink as I waited for the bus and was made to feel so unwelcome by a very angry lady behind the bar who, when I politely asked if she had a plug socket I could use for my laptop, said to me "how dare you come in here and expect to use my electricity!" I was mortified as I didn't expect anything, just hoped this was somewhere I could do work and have a drink. I wanted to leave however I stayed as I don't know the area and it was raining outside. I stayed for 30 minutes and as soon as I drank my drink I left since you could cut the tension with a knife and waited in the rain for my bus. Horrible experience! I will not be back.

  It's what it says on the box. Good village local with good beer and good pub grub at good prices.

  Very cheap and cheerful, possibly seems a little rough around edges but a loved local establishment. Active in community and have raised thousands for charity events so I'm keen to support fundraising functions. Very very basic food but cheap and totally fine. Cheeseburger and chips less than £5. Amazing views of the white Mark and chiltern (watlington hill) great for families and cyclists. Large garden with play area and mini golf. Dogs allowed too. Open all day and serves good most of the day.
