::The casting city was a complete scam. My fault I was naive enough to be taken for a ride. Arranged for my photos to be done which cost over 300. Once I received the photos which were highly edited and unnatural. I received a Z card & never heard a word since. I emailed them and had no response. Do not go with these people whatsoever. Wish I realized what a complete scam this company was. I learnt my lesson & I hope all of you who do this to innocent good people learn your lesson too

::I had similar experiences. the only good thing is that my portfolio has got me work since this unfortunate experience but the casting city is a total scam

::ABSOLUTE SCAM. I wish I didn't even have to give them a star. As an aspiring actor I thought it was amazing being told that I would be getting jobs straight away and my name being put forward. They wanted at least £400 up front for photos with ALPHA STUDIOS, which at the time, as an eager actor I went ahead and did it. I had my photos taken and it took at least a month for me to get my photos back. After this I was told that I would be given an agent (Leo) and that I would hear from him. I not once heard from Leo and when I rang up to chase them I got told that my agent had changed (I hadn't even been made aware). They also said they'd sign me to spotlight which didn't happen at all. BE AWARE FOR SCAMMERS LIKE THIS!!

::After signing up with The Casting City, i got called for an audition for Sky Tv serial. I had to prepare myself with a monologue before attending to it, and when i attended the audition, i was given a small part of their script to revise and had to act it out, that was an exciting and interesting experience. The environment was friendly and very supportive. Thank you Casting City for getting me good auditions and for boosting my experiences, through this my confidence level is also improving.

::This company seems to be a complete casting scam. They want money upfront and they use enthusiasm and other peoples' success stories to lure you in and take the money. Check your facts and look for signs of a scam. If they promise to get you work straight away then you shouldn't have to pay then £400 for a portfolio. BE AWARE
