  A proper cosy pub with a small but well-tended range of beer attached to a cosy restaurant selling beautifully unhealthy pies and artisan pork-scratchings with pride. Definitely one of those places where you get through too many bottles of wine and stay late with friends.

  Fabulous food and great service. The sausages are fantastic, and always go for the Hemmingford mash!

  Such a wonderful traditional pub, in a beautiful village! We were visiting friends and they brought us here, and the meal was great! We rang up before as I’m a vegan, and they really looked after me and were really good! The service was top notch - totally recommend for everyone 😊
