::Relatively local vibe to this pub. Good selection of beers and sheltered beer garden. Decor a bit dated but warmer feel than a lot of the modern pubs in town. Bit of a pain that it's min £10 on card. very canny

::My favourite after work pub - have never had a bed pint in here! Super cosy, lovely and warm in the winter with a great outside area too.

::Good real ale. Tucked away from the main road but easy reach of Temple Meads. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly. Just popped in for a quick drink although busy with rugby on big screen seating still available. Beer mats all over the walls and ceiling.

::Great selection of real ales. The decor was over the top and not to my taste, but there's a LOT of beer mats on the walls (and ceiling) you can tell its a proper ale pub. It was quiet but it is the first week in January everywhere is.
