I ate here with my wife and 2 children (8 & 6). The food was nice and fairly quick service. The children enjoyed their meals. I had the chilli which looked nice but lacked taste unfortunately. My wide however enjoyed her meal.

Although the building itself was very charming my stay wasn't the best experience. The pub itself was loud and rowdy and at one point a patron was relieving himself against the wall by the front door. The Bistrot was fully booked although we wernt told this until we actually went down for dinner to try and get a table. It would have been nice to know on arrive so we could make other plans. No other recommendations were made we just got a very blunt 'sorry we are full' and were then turned away to look elsewhere. The room was ok. The shower unit was not fixed to the wall properly and there were some stains on the paint work but my main problem was the pigeons! The room was located in the eves of roof and it was apparent at 6 am that pigeons were nesting directly above the bed and were very loud. Not what you want when you are looking forward to a nice lie in.

Nice trendy pub with hot fuzz memorabilia due to the pub used as location for shots. Good atmosphere plenty of seating a little restricted for wheelchair access. Big screen tv for some sports in the back area.

Went to Anton's last night to celebrate my partner's birthday what a disappointment. The food was awful particularly the main my partner had steak tough with a few tomatoes and chips i had lamb which was cold with a pile of vegetablesโ€‹ which was inedible no one came to check if all was ok we ate a little just because we were hungry. The only saving grace was the manageress i think she was was who was sympathetic. I've never complained before let alone write a review but have to say this was probably my worst dining experience

Amazing Sunday Lunch - really enjoyed the vegetarian offering. My friends had the fish and beef and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommended - if you can get a seat. It's popular.
