Rooms are compact and clean if a little outdated. Food for the evening meal was very good. I had the hake which was very small for £18, but I must say it was very well cooked. Breakfast was also very good. A full selection for the cooked items as well as cereals and fruits.

Lovely Hotel, the staff were very attentive although they were extremely busy. The facilities were nice and the communal areas were very clean and looked after. The bedroom was quite tired and could do with refreshing but the hotel is soon to be refurbished so I am sure they will be refreshed and invigorated soon.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Hotel itself is a little dated, but all in all a good stay. Radiator didn't work, but hotel staff were more than happy to suggest a room move or extra blankets. Shower was very nice.

I attended the spa for my hen. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough to help all of us. We had afternoon tea which was beautiful. The spa itself isnt too big and did get busy in the afternoon but it was all very clean. The changing rooms are nice with large lockers. Would definitely recommend.

The decor in our room resembled a scene from murder she wrote. If pattern carpets and dark wood are your thing, you would feel right at home here. 1977 is the best way of describing how this place looks. Not a bad place in terms of service, they do do a good job of cleaning the rooms. And the lobby area is smart and up to date. If they brought the rooms up to the same spec it would feel a lot more modern and comfortable.
