  Alex is an excellent coach with a belt of knowledge and experience that comes from fighting professionally in the past, coaching semi-pro and pro fight champions, and running various levels of classes for many years in the UK. He is very passionate about teaching and is extremely welcoming to all his students, newcomers and old ones alike. He knows how to make lessons hard enough to push you to your limits, but also interesting and enjoyable enough to motivate you to constantly want to do better. However, the one thing I really like about the Eagle Kickboxing Academy is how everyone there is so respectful, friendly and welcoming with one another - it's like training with family and it's never mundane!

  I joined the Eagle kickboxing academy in mid-2016, my goal was mainly weight-loss. I have found it to be an excellent place to work out. Alex is a great coach, extremely passionate about the sport and dedicated to helping his students achieve their goals, whether they be improving technique or just general fitness/weight management like me. The classes are are an intensive mix of strength/conditioning and kick-boxing technique. Alex keeps changing things up so, there will never be a risk of tedium setting in. He also makes sure to spend time with each student, motivating us to push our limits or improving technique. The classes are fun and the crowd friendly. You can go at your own pace, but Alex will make sure that pace keeps increasing. Apart from Alex, there are also some bona fide champions who work out at the gym, so you can learn from the best. How did I do with my goals? Well, my weight at the time of joining was 102 kg, my current weight is 81.5 kg so a huge thank-you to Alex, Claire and the rest of the Eagle kick-boxing team, OSS!!

  Alex is the best trainer I have come across did kick boxing in my 20’s and started back in January 2017. Enjoy the coaching from Alex and the benefits gained from it. I now do 3 days a week here. Learning all the time and motivated to improve all the time.
