  Nice and clean room -staff were lovely but although my window overlooked a crossroads which was noisey

  Dirty room. Staff were very quick to dismiss and introduce me to the place at the start. Felt rushed. Close to places but... Sheets looked unclean

  Paid £95 for a double room for myself and my partner. It was so bad we decided to avoid staying and drove the 2 hours back to Manchester in the night. The staff are friendly but the place is very old and dated. There's a strong smell of damp/dry rott in the rooms. The room we were in was very small and facing the busy junction outside so traffic noise was unbearable. The bathroom was tiny and the shower flooded the bathroom. I've stayed in 5 star B&B's for the same price! Be advised this hotel takes the money for your stay 2-3 days before your arrival!

  Great place to stay for an overnight visit, decent rooms and great staff. Would definitely come back!
