Good points: lovely staff, spacious rooms, access to leisure centre, decent breakfast, quiet, car parking. Less good points: room was cold (it was winter tho), decor dated, shower not quite hot enough.

I was looking for a venue for an event I'm planning. The staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful. The place was well laid out, clean and tidy. Would recommend to others.

Nice place. Looked to have some good food for people who want to go out or are stopping at the hotel. Serves special coffee .milkshakes for kids and cocktails. I went to the bar behind the main pub. Never ventured into the pub. I went to a demonstration there . staff friendly enough.Only one downside. I was driving and had a large Pepsi. It was poured from a cheap bottle and cost £2.80 which I thought was really steep considering it was from a 90pence bottle. If that. Would have thought it could have been cheaper than a beer. Disappointed. Drivers and people with kids always get stung.

A nice hotel. A little dated but lovely big room and a delightful staircase. Food at the pub next door. Breakfast was self service, adequate, but we were not hungry before leaving at 5:30am. Although the dining room was opened for us.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Room was dusty and dirty. The room had a bright green light in it (to do with the fire alarms) which I was greatfull for except for the fact it kept me awake all night. My colleague pointed out there were silverfish in the bathroom too. Had we not arrived at around 11pm and being too tired to notice these things before the morning we would have just left and stayed elsewhere. We didn't stay for breakfast and we would have complained had there been somebody at reception to actually speak too.
