  The pub is old and dingy and it is a very cliquey place if your face doesn't fit you're not welcome.

  When I'm in Inverness I always pop into The Keg as it has such a friendly place with a great atmosphere and a few characters Always a welcome from staff and patrons

  Just because the football game you want to watch is posted on the board outside, does not mean that you will be able to watch it. Why? Because one of the regulars wants to watch something else and that's that.

  Great for watching football, busy place at weekends, they do food eg soup within a decent price

  It's a grubby wee bar down one of the most avoidable streets/lane in Inverness. The pub itself is quite popular tho, (usually with jackeys, junkies, & undesirable folk) plus it opens at 09:00 in the mornings. It sits on Byron Taylor Street which is dirty, & avoidable. It's right across from Inverness train station so that's where it'll get a lot of custom from. In the 15 years I've lived in Inverness I've only been in this pub 3 times, not going to be a 4th
