  It gets a star for 'the experience'. Truly the cake shop at the end of the world. Has to be seen to be believed - Mary Portas would have a field day.

  I was here a few years ago and because I was looking for quite a few items I received first class help and not being able to stand for long a stool to sit on I could not have had better help and if you got what you went for you should be pleased and thankful.

  My wife and I received excellent service and she found exactly what she wanted after dragging me half way round the town. It probably isn't the place to take young children as it's stacked floor to ceiling with everything you could possibly need and I can imagine unsupervised children running riot. I'd wonder if the lady complaining has even been near the place as, whatever you might say about the place, nobody who had been there could ever say it was understocked!

  Maybe the shop is not very child friendly, as i went to buy some things, and the owner wasn't that rude at all.... on the contrary, he was very helpful, and offered some tips as well. The shop needs a bit of redecorating as it seems it's been the same for 40 years, but i found what i wanted, so job done! Some older people are just not that comfortable around children, with them playing with everything and dropping things, i think we should show more tolerance to them.

  Very Rude & Unfriendly. I was after cake decorations for my daughters birthday cake, I found this place on the web and just wished there was some reviews at the time to read as I definatley wouldnt have gone. Apart from being in great need of re-stocking, there is only tatty stuff left in there and to top it off the the gentleman who served me (apeared to be the owner) was so rude and made me feel like I was going to steal something, was not very impressed with me having my daughter with me and generally had a very bad attitude....!!!! I would advise anyone concidering this shop to stay away! You wont find any thing there apart from aload of abuse!
