  Awful microwave meal type food. Stressed and overworked staff who do their best but are clearly too few. Not good.

  They say child friendly on the page. They really are!! My little girl loved the experience. The food was spot on. The free salad bowl is amazing #thousandislanddressingisamazing Great experience and will definitely be returning.

  More expensive than I remember a couple of years ago but the same quality of food. Used to think of Harvester as a cheap eat but now it's more of a cheap eat with a bigger price tag. Can eat higher quality food elsewhere for the same price.

  I came for a couple of hours to Brighton and all I wanted was to have a meal somewhere near the beach and found ‘ The Madeira at harvester’ restaurant and bar. I came with my family and we order food and drinks. The waiter was rude and the restaurant had dirty tables. ( a table next to our one was full of plates from people that were seated there when we arrived and left minutes after we sat. It was still there when we left.) the waiters were just walking around the bar talking to each other and didn’t seem to care. The food took 45min. When the food came the chicken from both plates was cold. One plate was missing a jacket potato which was replaced by fries and my plate (the Caribbean Cajun chicken) was missing the rice. We mention to the waitress about the jacket potato and he brought it to us but we didn’t want to bother about the rice since we had already waited long enough. For the price of this restaurant I would expect for a waitress to serve me or at least for the food to be as it says in the menu.

  Situated in a gorgeous location overlooking Brighton pier and boasting ample well kept seating and tables and a warm atmosphere, we had a lovely experience. We headed in for breakfast at roughly 10:35 on remembrance Sunday. We were greeted by an incredibly friendly and helpful member of staff named Lucas who politely informed us of the silence they would be observing, before leading us to our table and taking our order. He was consistently extremely happy and friendly when interacting with us, and even cleaned a window for us when we jokingly mentioned a seagull had rudely obscured our view of the sea from our table. Food was served promptly and was lovely. Fantastic value for money. We plan to come again and enjoy an evening down by the sea in the future.
