  Service is slow but it is worth the visit if you’re doing the riverside/woodland walk from Beaulieu. You can park on the high street and walk past the school, following signs for footpath. This takes you on a lovely track walk all the way to Bucklers Hard where you’ll find the Master Builders pub and restaurant. It’s dog friendly as well.

  Fantastic place, fantastic service, fantastic food! I would definitely recommend for a nice quiet break.

  There for only one night attending wedding party. Room 5. Room small no wardrobe only coat rack at door entrance so limited space to hang cloths. No fridge, adequate tea coffee facilities and nice comfortable Bed clean and tidy. No View other than car park. and cattle grid right outside window. Bar area seem's scruffy and could do with a make over, very Dog friendly hotel a point to bear in mind if your not a dog lover. Breakfast was help your self plenty of choice, but the hot food was only just warm at best, but we arrived in middle of service and maybe the early bird had a warmer version. To sum it up the price was too high for a basic room with no view and a Luke warm cooked breakfast.

  Quiet, relaxing and comfortable. Friendly staff. Room comfortable and welcome liqueur was nice. Restaurant food was lovely and well presented. Nice walk around Bucklers Hard after breakfast with nobody else around.

  "Quirky Luxury" they call it. We had a dog-friendly room. Well appointed, comfortable, and tasteful. Room amenities are good, the location is wonderful, staff are friendly and very helpful, food is great, bar and lounge have roaring log fires. Couldn't call it perfect, but that would probably be sterile and soul-less, but it was perfect for us. I've always loved this ace & I'll keep coming back.
