  What an interesting, somewhat cavernous restaurant! Surprisingly cosy and warm, despite the high ceiling. It was quiet when we visited at 2030 on a Thursday night, but this didn't spoil what was a great meal and a lovely time. My asparagus and duck egg was well executed, as was the wife's scallops and pork belly; the only marginal issue was some slightly gritty pea shoots that both were served with. Our mains of pork belly and mackerel were delicious. We had glasses of unoaked South African chardonnay which was well rounded, Muscat was floral and honey'd and Chilean Merlot was a complex but not overpowering foil for my pork. The cappuccino was very decent too; just a smidge hotter than a typical Italian offering. Recommended; we would visit again.

  Tasty food, reasonably priced and nice atmosphere with a nice modern yet gothic vibe. Well recommended.

  By far my favourite place to eat in Plymouth. Reasonably priced, expertly cooked food served by polite staff that are always happy to welcome you. The menu has something for everyone but is small enough that you can be sure each time is freshly prepared and given singular care.

  My husband and i love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. Service can be slow but when your presented with delicious, freshly cooked fare i don't mind. This is a place for a lazy kicked back meal. If your in a rush there's plenty of fast food joints! We've just enjoyed a fabulous lunch there today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There were 7 of us and nothing was too much trouble including allowing my daughter to bring a specially made cake for the occasion. Thank you.
