  This is a lovely country Inn and restaurant. The food is fantastic and the proprietors warm and welcoming. We have stayed in the rooms which are clean and comfortable. We would whole heartedly recommend The Norfolk Luther.

  Fast becoming our favourite pub/restaurant, we return on a monthly basis and have not been disappointed yet, long let it remain that way. The food is well cooked and presented and the relaxed atmosphere just right for a pub/restaurant, not forgetting the staff who have always been helpful and friendly. Try the local Venison if it’s on the menu….. sublime. And Dog friendly…. Perfect !

  This was our first visit here and we've already booked to return! Beautiful surroundings, I loved the way you sit near the bar to peruse the menu's and here you get to meet the owners. You would be advised to have a sense of humour, nice banter eg: we've not been here before! "Oh no, does that mean I have got to train you?" Very tongue in cheek and immediately added to a great first impression. The menu selections are very varied, 2 of our party had 3 delicious courses whilst the other 2 could only manage 2 courses. Definitely full plates, the sausages (and the selection there are SIX!!) were mouth watering. No quibble over asking for poached instead of fried eggs. The young serving girls were polite, friendly and almost invisible when they needed to be. Dogs are welcome and their resident dog, Alfie, is adorable! Highly recommend Norfolk Lurcher, it ticks all the right boxes and they even have Jazz nights for those that like a bit of music.
