  A lovely experience at the Old Mill Harvester and one of the best experiences of visiting a Harvester. From the time we walked in, the atmosphere was lively but not too wild which was ideal and the staff were very welcoming and professional. Overall, the food was very tasty and well presented. Will definitely be coming back.

  We have been regular visitors for breakfast on Saturday, for approximately 1 year, with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 people each week. The service staff have always been attentive and friendly and food good. However, the last couple of weeks the waiting staff have been reduced and from my observation this has put those left under pressure to achieve the high standards that we once had. Last week our food was cold, however when we complained it was resolved to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, this week they had run out of fresh fruit, the manager didn't apologise, she merely explained that they wouldn't have more until their expected delivery later today. This isn't the first time they have run out of fruit. Some of my food was cold again, as was some of my friends. I asked for a new breakfast. My plate was returned a little while later with exactly the same food! I know this because I asked for soft poached eggs and had pierced them to check, and they weren't, and the same eggs and bacon were returned. I expressed my disappointment as regular customers to be treated in this way. Having said that, money was deducted last week and this week. It is my opinion that by cutting the waiting staff they are physically unable to manage the restaurant, it would appear the manager does little to support the staff. Our group will not be returning.   Booking was easy and simple (only place with decent food on a Sunday} with a great menu. Apparently it's an experimental menu but ate there 3 days out of 4. Soaked up the wedding alcohol and great service, couldn't recommend highly enough....

  We love it here - by far one of the best.... we always get the best service and the food is always great. We had the new menu on Wednesday and it was delicious! The salad cart had loads of new things to choose from and was all fresh and full up - even the rolls were fresh and warm.... highly recommend

  Fabulous time here with great food and staff are extremely helpful. Always enjoy my time here and this time I brought my youngest in with friends and family as it's her birthday and staff brought her sundae with a candle and sang to her!! 5* from me 😆
