Awesome little hideaway. Great if you want to chill quietly for a few days. Situated right on the river bank. Restaurant and bar on site and walking distance to Bath city centre, if you don't mind a few hills that is.

Lovely location but waterwheel kept me up all night although there are other rooms away from noise. Great for walks along river. Accommodation clean but a bit tired which may reflect recent floodings over the years. Breakfast disappointing. Food kept hot for too long & slow on replacing cooked items in buffet. Broken toaster & semi warm coffee. Enjoyed location but wouldn't stay here again

Went out for a meal with my wife and had great food and service. Fantastic place to eat and right by the river and a wonderful water wheel. 5 Star's from us.

Stayed first week in the main building and rooms very comfortable. The second week in the lodges not so good with cold shower room, confined area and TV very poor reception. Parking is a major issue !!

This hotel is basic but good value for money. It exceeded my expectations. I had a room in the annex and it was warm, had a good sized desk with coffee, tea and biscuits and included towels, toiletries, a hairdryer and a large shower. It also had free WiFi and parking and is a short drive into the city centre. The hotel is situated on a pretty stretch of the River Avon with good walks and pubs nearby. The only thing I would say is that the annex doesn't have great noise insulation, which isn't a massive problem for the night time as it's a quiet area but it would be easy to be woken up by guests leaving in the morning. You are told where your room is (annex or main building) when you book, however so it would be easy to avoid this problem.
