  Lovely thatched hotel block and a nice pub too. Food was good and a few pints of HSB or a G&T from the well stocked gin bar very welcome.

  We had a very nice lunch in pleasant surroundings. The service was good and prices reasonable.

  Stayed for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Rooms were clash with good tea facilities. My room had a lovely walk in shower and very comfortable bed. Easy access to the room. There was a little noise when other people used the water, but nothing bothersome at all. The pub itself had good beers on tap and a nice atmosphere. All in all, very happy there.

  We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my father in laws 99th birthday.The rooms are lovely, plenty of space, comfortable bed and clean. The bathroom is spacious but the shower was a nightmare. Mainly cold water with the odd gush of really hot water, horrible. We had to phone for a bath towel as only one left in our room. This was rectified quickly. Our party was very well looked after during our meal and the staff were polite and helpful. This hotel is well placed for the New Forest with plenty of walks to be enjoyed. All in all a lovely place to stay but they really should sort out the plumbing!

  Well positioned near the New Forest. Large room, beautifully decorated. Would have liked a bath in the bathroom, but the shower was large and had good pressure. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast was amazing with locally sourced produce and s good selection.
