  We had a lovely meal on Easter Sunday. A carvery which was beautifully cooked. No complaints. The one thing that spoilt the day was having to pay £4 to park the car. That is excessive. If having a meal only why not do what others do allow say £2 off the bill to compensate. I would not return again because of this charge. Many of my friends feel the same.

  Very good. Our basic room was clean & spacious with a sofa, TV and lovely pastoral view of the horses in the fields. The staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good, self service/all you can eat. Great location for exploring Oxford, the centre is about 10-15 mins walk away straight down Abingdon Rd.

  This hotel is in a good position, walking distance from Oxford, near the river. However, many rooms were in need of updating including the bathrooms. The main reception and restaurant were smart and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and dining - good value and delicious. Friendly staff.

  Stayed over night end of February '18. Wonderful hotel, neat and tidy. Very clean. Cleaners all said good morning when you walked past them in the corridors. Parking from March '18 is £7.50 per 24 hours for hotel guests so you'll need to add that to your stay.

  I’ve stayed here several times for work Christmas parties. Every time I have been impressed with this hotel. Parking isn’t particularly close to reception, but if that is the only fault with this hotel it is a minor one at most. Check in and check out we’re both quick and efficient, accompanied by warm greetings from courteous and helpful staff. On my most recent visit (late November 2017) I stayed in a staff spacious double room which was clean, had the usual facilities and was comfortable and a good temperature. I enjoyed the bar here, filled with a wide selection of spirits and beers. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice between cooked breakfast or continental cuts. Overall I was really impressed with this hotel, and would happily come back.
