A great pub atmosphere but it goes down hill from there. We were there for almost an hour and a half for lunch. The food is average, nothing special. The pies didn't impress, although the grilled salmon was a hit. OK if you're in the area but not worth going out of your way for.

I visited this lovely traditional bar at the end of a long days march through central London and it was packed with fellow marchers. Wow! They know how to serve a crowd. Quick and friendly service with a smile. Be prepared to have a bag search but nothing intrusive. Smoking allowed on the pavement seats

A fantastic traditional pub right in the heart of Westminster, make sure if you want food you go through the door and up the stairs to the restaurant because that confused us! We had the Madras Pie which was absolutely amazing as well as some lovely local beer and a nice pudding to top it all off. It was a bit busy so you may need to book but we got on just fine!

We really enjoyed our visit. We called in for a coffee and went back later for lunch. Lovely staff very friendly and the food was good we tried their famous pie and had extra gravy. Would recommend.

A cozy "pint and pie" pub with a great selection of food. It isn't a massive venue, so can get quite busy at times, but does have an upstairs function room with a private bar, for groups. The main courses are very good, but the deserts a little too sweet. The selection of ales and wines also looked good.
