  Ale kept and served well. Food is freshly cooked and as such takes it time to arrive so best to sit back, relax with friends and have another drink until it does.

  After a rocky couple on months I'm please to say that The Red Lion is back on good form. They have a new chef who certainly isn't shy of a good portion (the game piece as awesome). Will definitely be back

  My roast dinner was lovely but my wife and daughter did not enjoy their meal at all.

  Nice atmosphere and classic decor, very pleasant and attentive staff, free (no hassle) WiFi that works, plenty of parking and a convenient location...but...strange music, disappointing olives (small cocktail olives for £6), roasted vegetable sandwich could have had another slice of toast with it, warm (not hot) chips didn't know if they were too small chips or too big fries... 3 stars, un-met potential.
