  Lovely meal in a comfortable setting. Attentive staff and well presented food. My hake was perfect and the white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake was sublime.

  Nice foody kind of pub. Went there over Christmas for their set menu and enjoyed the meal despite it not being exactly as advertised. The staff are very attentive and we're keen to make amends for one of my party being slightly dissatisfied with their meal. Drinks were a little costly.

  Very nice afternoon tea a mid week treat very reasonably priced. Lovely venue very clean. Great staff nothing to much trouble. Definitely recommend. Thank you Charlie and all the staff see you again soon.

  Very good overall. Really nice venue, with comfortable and spacious seating. Service struck that nice balance between being timely but allowing you enough time so that don't feel rushed. Food was really good although note to chef: bit less pepper in the peppercorn sauce maybe - was a little overpowering! But generally very good. Only issue is that menu is a tad limited - would benefit greatly from 1 or 2 more main dishes and starters. Lager was cold and fresh. Will go again.
