  Watch returned weeks ahead of schedule - keeps perfect time and looks like new as well. Friendly and efficient service from all at the Watch Lab, highly recommended.

  Previously I have always sent my Rado wristwatch to Swatch in Southampton for battery change and service which took around a month. This time I thought I would give Watch Lab in Glasgow Buchanan Galleries a chance after they confirmed that they were accredited repairers and could carry out the work within 7-10 days. I paid £95 for battery change and reseal and £20 for a mini valet. They told me I didn't need a service which should only be required every 10 years or so. The watch came back within the aforementioned timeframe and the watch looked good and clean. However soon afterwards one of the link pins next to the clasp started popping out and I was concerned that the watch would drop off my wrist. I returned it to the shop a couple of days ago and was told that it was not their fault and would not have happened as part of the mini valet. Not being a watchmaker I am not in a position to robustly dispute this. However they are charging me another £95 to repair the clasp and pin and I feel that this is excessive - but what can I do other than send it to Swatch in Southampton and wait around a month - something that is not suitable as I am going on holiday in a few weeks time. At this stage I do not think I will be using them after this repair and will revert to dealing with Swatch who always gave me a detailed estimate for my approval before undertaking any work.

  Friendly but efficient service from Cameron. I have a 15 year old Rado watch which, although expensive to fit a battery at Watch Lab, was far cheaper than going to a jeweller and then having to have it sent away. This would have resulted in paying postage and insurance and being without my beloved watch for a few weeks. Dropped off the watch in Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow and collected it 2 hours later. Excellent service thank you.

  Worst place I've been to get a watch repaired. I just needed the strap bar to be replaced as mine had fallen out. I was charged 20 pounds for the service. Though the price was not the issue, the service was. I felt I was forced to opt for an ultrasonic cleaning. I tried to refuse but ended up being insulted. After the 'cleaning' (costing 15 pounds), I could not see any visible difference from before. I highly recommend the place "Tick Tock" down the road. Would've been charged much less, and staff there are really friend too!
