  We went to The Wheatsheaf Inn this morning for a family breakfast - 9 adults and 5 kids all under 4. I was really really impressed with the lady who was serving us. We weren't an easy crowd as every breakfast was slightly different to suit individual preferences but every breakfast came out correct, hot and very delicious. Well done to the kitchen staff for getting that all correct too!! Plenty of tea and toast as well. Well done The Wheatsheaf Inn. A really pleasant start to the day. Thanks.

  Thought rooms were quite expensive for what they are, need a bit of work done to tidy them up and sofa had hole in arm but overall it was ok and thought food was bit overpriced

  Drinks and service were very good, the mac and cheese was too strong and the sticky toffee pudding was dry and not very good unfortunately.

  I stay here a lot due to business reasons. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant offers a good choice of food. It's all very fresh and well presented. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are only a few rooms so book in advance if you want to stay here.
