  So glad I visited Thorns today. Staff were very helpful and were able to provide me with 2 tiny (and very difficult to find) machine screws that fitted the button on my coat. Staff member Glen fitted it on the coat for me to make sure it was the right size. Would highly recommend this shop.

  One of the worst shops I’ve been in, anywhere & in different parts of the country too. The staff are rude, unhelpful & look at you as if to say, “what are you doing here”, the layout is awful & they’ve done little to help it. They are probably nice to certain males, who are maybe in the building/trades, but god help you if you’re female!! Have now come away with wrong nuts & no lock washers, though I stipulated that’s what I needed. Maybe they get a kick out of making fun of customers. The only reason I can think of they do ok as a business is because they have NO other competition. Won’t set foot in there again & as for the notice on window, “we will serve disabled customers “, what with-poison😡😡😡

  Helpful and knowledgeable staff since I first used them in 1952 and they are still the best. B must have got out of her bed the wrong side

  Best hardware shop in Britain, let alone Norwich. Stocks everything you could ever need. Very helpful and friendly staff.

  I just wish I could give more stars than 5. Easy web site to navigate and purchase from. The after sales service was second to none, had a call to say items I ordered were not in stock but would be delivered by Friday ( today). I actually received them yesterday. So nice to deal with such friendly people. I must add I have shopped at Thorns for many years in person and as always brilliant and pleasant staff, am glad they have a web site now as I can't get into the city. Highly recommended.
