  David recently treated several cases of rising damp in rooms around our conversion flat. He initially impressed me with his in-depth knowledge and specialisation in damp treatment, as well as his competitive rates. Over the course of a week, David carried out the planned work to the letter - all finished to a high standard. He also did such a good job cleaning up that you'd have never known he'd been. Not bad considering plaster removal and re-application is a very messy, dusty business. If you're the kind of person who's "had enough of experts", go ahead take your chances with general 'repair' firms or cowboys and risk ending up with a botched job, as well as paying through the nose. But if you'd rather use someone who has 3 decades of highly-specialised experience and a genuine passion for solving your damp problem while charging you significantly less, choose David Telford at TW Building.

  David damp-proofed my home and did a stellar job of removing damaged bits of wall all around, giving it the needed treatment and cementing and plastering it up again. He is a very knowledgeable guy who could write a history book on antique homes and their building methods, has a keen eye for details, and is very enthusiastic about what he does. He carefully explained what he was doing or planning to do, so I knew exactly what was happening. The walls look great and I highly recommend him and his services.
