  With my girlfriend we chosen glasses to her, fro £230. The sale assistant wanted to give us the window item, after we asked for a brand new. 2 weeks later paid in advance they didn’t even called her, she called them eventually. She went in for them and got home and seeing they are slightly twisted, doesn’t even fit properly. Ridiculous glasses shop, ridicoulus service, go for a private one.

  I've been using the Vision Express store in Brighton for 12 years and always found the service is excellent. Tried others during that time as well and they were nowhere near as good. There's always a big choice of frames and the pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff make the whole process enjoyable.

  I had booked an appointment with Vision Express. Due to heavy traffic, I was late for my appointment by only 7 minutes. I had called the store and informed in advance that I may be late by 5-10 minutes. The lady on the phone told that I could very well be within 10 minutes grace period. But when I reached the store (7 minutes late), they refused to honour my appointment and asked me to come on a later date/time. This was absolutely uncalled for especially I had travelled for 45 mins just for my eye exam. As a customer, I feel extremely agitated for having being treated in this manner.

  After being told by a competitor company that my prescription could not be fitted to the frame I chose and told that I HAD to have a different pair, we went to see Vision Express. We were met by Gary and shown how it is supposed to be done. From start to finish the staff and experience were perfect. Go see Gary he's a legend.
