Great stay at this fab park, facilies are excellent, its very clean and tidy, luvly views over the lake, east acess to all yorks atractions, and also close to visit the coast, watch out for the notice board that Pete keeps updated. What a find this park has been for us.

Great camp site, very clean, very organised, pleasant surroundings, pleasant surroundings, family run, lovely folk 😊 Not far from city center as it's situated on Inner city ringroad, park and ride 10 minutes away, two shopping centers with supermarkets and cheap fuel within 10-15 minutes. Castle Howard half hour away if that, the coast one hour away, easy drive.

What an excellent campsite / touring park! The site is perfectly flat and consists of a few main sections, one with electric for tourers/tents (rock peg required for tents) , one for caravans/tourers and the other being tent only pitches scattered around a bit. There's also a couple of camping pods available. We pitched our tent about 10 yards from the fishing lake, right by a wooden picnic table and sheltered by a small stand of trees. the site is very peaceful and quiet - as long as you don't mind all the wagtails, goldfinches, ducks, owls and the occasional splash of leaping fish in the lake. Facilities on site are really well maintained, clean and tidy. There's toilets, washing area, and good hot showers. The proprietor is a really friendly helpful chap, full of advice and directions around the local area. There's a shopping center and park/ride for York within 5 mins drive and easy access from the A64. I'm not a fisherman, but the people who did stop by to fish seemed to enjoy their pastime and I saw several sizable fish landed. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime soon!
