Lovely book store structured on three floors, each with different categories of books that you can browse comfortably sat on a cozy sofa. On the second floor there's a nice café that offers vegan options too and has a friendly staff. Throughout the year they do several meetings with various topics, including foreign languages chats and other enjoyable activities. They often welcome writers to discuss about their new books which is something I really love. I definitely recommend to jump here whenever you find some spare time!

I like to escape to places like this during my lunch hour to sip hot coffee and read awesome books. Of all the cafes I've visited in Leeds so far, this one is my favourite. The staff are friendly, the coffee is strong and hot, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I ordered a large americano with milk, in a take-out cup, (which is about the size of a regular take out cup at Caffe Neros) and it cost me £1.90 which is very reasonable for a central Leeds cafe. I was even offered the option of warm milk, which is always a bonus. The only thing I would say is try to arrive before the busy period, which is between 12.30 and 15.30, as tables are limited during this time and the queue to be served can be quite long. Nevertheless an awesome cafe!

Massive, loads of choice, lovely staff. There's a good coffee shop area and a nice place to sit with children and look at the books. Regular author events too.

Love this place! Cafe staff are so friendly and helpful, even more so than the bookstore staff. I love the relaxed atmosphere I could spend hours here!
