Terrible service, my boyfriend has been in three times before his op which 111 told him to make his own way there, which he had to pay for 6 taxis there and back costing him over £80 to then have to go back in today because he still has the same pains as before his op. There was no possible way of him getting there as I have a 3 month old baby to look after and it was stupid time in the morning. They gave him transport the 3rd time after fighting his case. Sent a taxi out but told him to come in the next day for a scan, then gave him a bus ticket to get home, which is two buses to get back. Bearing in mind that he’s just had a spinal operation on his lower back one week ago and finds it hard to even walk without being in agony. You wait around for hours to get told to go home. He’s in so much pain and has got his own pharmacy at home he has that much tablets. Just find it disgusting to be treated like this for someone that pays over £300 in National Insurance a month and serves his country!

Waited 10 months to be seen by a specialist, in 3 minutes he told me that achilles tendon inflammation is not treatable and sent me on my way. Why could they not have told me this 10 months ago over the phone? Waited 7 months to see a hearing specialist who told me tinnitus can't be treated and to try relax, and sent home within 5 minutes. Again, could they not have told me over the phone? Them specialists have a real easy well paid job.

Admitted with Australian flu and pneumonia, the staff. Nurses and doctors were fantastic, they were very busy but remained caring, polite and so efficient Thank you to all the nurses and doctors, you are doing a wonderful job in very difficult conditions.
