  If you’re about to go on a long journey and have a few pounds to burn, it’s perfect to get a newspaper or a magazine for a journey. I find things can be a lot more expensive here (chocolates & drinks) than if you had planned beforehand, but you can’t really complain about something like that. It has decent coffee if you happen to be inside. The staff are friendly. Also, there are usually always deals on something – so there is a chance now and then to get something for good value. It’s also somewhere you may find a last minute gift / card.

  Typical train station WHSmiths with overpriced everything and a selection of magazines. It's the better of the two in the station but charges far too much, especially as there's a M&S next on the left (as you exit the station) as you exit the station and a Sainsbury's Local on the right side.
