  I ordered a worktop from the store in Peterborough but they ordered a upstand. I called customer services to cancel the incorrect item and i was informed I would need to go in to store. So I decided to go to the store and was informed by them the item would need to be delivered then I would be able to get a refund. I have the item and I'm at the store but they are still having problems refunding as the system is saying it's not been delivered. This is a joke! The kitchen design consultant (Jessica) who ordered the wrong item was to busy to detail with me. Great customer service. I don't recommend this place to buy a tap let a loan a kitchen.

  Store manager couldn't be any ruder. Can say anything on other staff members but if that is how he leads by example that I have little hope.

  As a stop gap this is a good store, does not carry the greatest selection of goods, more a basic selection of most, the staff are trained to smile and say such phrases as "hello may I help you" and then help you to search for the goods and "we will have a delivery in a few days" or even "Have a nice day", they have a limited knowledge of products and seem to direct customers to the most expensive options available instead of enquiring exactly what project the customer is working on and to see if there are alternatives. Wickes would be better if they employed people who have some building or extensive DIY skills. There is no substitute for experience. also the younger staff seem to view enquiries as an interruption to their smart phones. limited parking but you can get a Burger from across the road when you come out.
