  Simply the best model shop I've ever been to. The variety is amazing and I could always find what I needed. Staff are simply amazing, they all know their stuff and are friendly and willing to help and offer advice. Overall the shop is well laid out and is stocked full. Although I no longer live in Edinburgh there is no other place I would shop for my modelling needs. Either online which is always quick and we'll packaged or occasionally making a 250mile round trip to visit and stock up on paints etc, as I really do enjoy visiting and can't speak highly enough of wonderland.

  The people are so nice I have been going for years and bought lots of models and cap guns and RC bouts so do come here if you want models and cap guns and RC planes cars and bouts

  Ordered items online for my daughter for Christmas and paid in full and for next day delivery. I phoned them the following day to find out when I should be receiving my items and they told me that there were a few items I ordered that are not in stock, despite their website stating otherwise!!! My daughters Christmas is now ruined and they were not even bothered when I spoke to them on the phone. AVOID!!!

  Not a great experience with their online sales. Ordered a couple of items on the Friday to be sent by standard delivery. By the Tueday of the following week they had not arrived so I emailed to check their whereabouts. I was told they had definitely been sent on the Friday and that they should be with me soon. Still nothing by the Thursday, so I emailed again. Was again assured that the items had been sent on the Friday and was advised to check with my local sorting office. Finally, after a week, I rang them to speak in person. After an extended phone call which involved much rummaging through paper and being cut off once, I was finally informed that they had no record of my order (though they had taken my money) and that the items I had orderd were not in stock. At least the refund was relatively swift ... I love local model shops and am sure that the in-store experience is great but my sense of the online business was that it was very poorly organised.

  Excellent store, brilliant model stock, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would highly recommend Wonderland Models to anyone looking to buy model kits, radio control toys, model figures and animals and die-cast toys. While in store, I found some of their store items were on deals on their website and they’re kind enough to offer me the price match for those items in store as well. Really impressed with their service. Five star from me!!!
