  I ordered a cake for my boyfriends 40th birthday party. He knew nothing about it so wanted it to be extra special ....... and it definitely was! The care and attention to detail put in was amazing and it tasted lovely. My boyfriend was blown away by it, so much so that he took almost all the guests at the party over straight away to look at it! Thank you 3D cakes!!!

  Paid a fortune for our wedding cake and said we would order our figurines elsewhere to look exactly like us. 3DCakes insisted they could do exact ones and not to go elsewhere. The figurines were a joke, we were told it would take a couple of weeks to make, three days before wedding, they were on the phone requesting photos and details and said they were just starting to make. Sponge was dry as well. They did not even respond to my complaint thereafter. Much better cake makers in Edinburgh and more reasonably priced.

  Cake for my girlfriend 50th birthday. Looks amazing. It took us a while before we decided to slice it. It looked good and tasted good.

  My family ordered a cake from 3D cakes for my 50th birthday. At first sight... the cake looked awesome... but then while trying to cut it we discovered the majority of what was on the cake board was in fact polystyrene covered in icing and the actual cake itself was very little and bulked up with cake boards and a polystyrene base! ! It was not explained or even suggested that any of the cake would be inedible. Personally I think they need to make sure people are fully aware of what they are actually getting. On a plus the bit of cake that was there... was delicious.

  My sister and brother-in-law ordered their wedding cake from 3D Cakes and I have to say that first of all, it was delicious! The variety of flavours was incredible. However, more impressive even than their baking skills; is their complete attention to detail and their strive to ensure that the cakes they provide are perfect for their clients. Due to the location of the wedding, the cake was delivered and the delivery person from 3D Cakes was concerned about the flowers not being completely perfect by the time it got to the big day. They then went above and beyond to ensure fresh flowers were arranged and on the cake for the morning of the wedding! Now that is customer service! xx
