  Purchased a pre-owned car that is very old but was within budget to get through 6 months of work contract and thinking about scrapping it once MOT is up. After a few months, car went into limp mode and paid for a diagnostic at Kwik Fit. They said it was an electrical issue so recommended this garage down the road. I phoned up before hand and was given a very thorough explanation of what the problem could potentially be ie best case scenario and worst case scenario. My battery was overcharging and I had the alternator changed. A few weeks later, my car was overheating and it only occured to me then that the car was so old, it needed a service. I phoned up A & S again and was panicking because I had not a clue what was going on with the car being all smoky and know sod all about cars! They were super patient on the phone and gave step by step advice on what to do and got back to Fishponds safely. Had the thermostat changed because the valve wasn't opening properly. I found this garage super efficient and affordable. Will definitely use again.
